John Pottinger Grant
The John A. Pottinger Scholarship Fund was established in honor of former principal John A. Pottinger in 1996 through the efforts of 1980 graduate Sonya Williams and friends. Subsequently, it was decided by the executive body of the STETHS Alumni Association USA (NY Chapter) to make an annual grant instead of giving a multi-year scholarship award.
This year the St. Elizabeth Technical High School Alumni Association (USA) Inc will award a sum of US$3,000.00 to be split between six students.
SU Watson Grant
The STETHS Alumni Association (USA) Inc executive committee voted to establish the S.U. Watson Grant on March 8, 2018 in honor of former principal Samuel Uriah Watson, who passed away on August 21, 2017.
The student must be a member of the school’s Cadet Corp for at least two years, in good standing in terms of decorum and must have achieved at least 75% overall class grade in the school year. They must be nominated by their Commanding Officer or a senior ranking member of the unit.
STETHS Alumni Mentoring Program (STAMP)
Who we are:
STETHS alumni, teachers, supporters, and community leaders, from various professional backgrounds.
STETHS Alumni Mentoring Program ( STAMP) is designed to provide current students and recent graduates with support in all facets of their lives. This program focuses on academic, personal, and professional success outcomes.
We Care program
The We Care program is a school fee assistance program that allows students who are struggling to pay their school fees to apply for a one-time grant, payable to the school on their behalf.
DaCosta Cup
The 2023 DaCosta Cup season is up on us. As a member of the STETHS community, we are seeking your support to assist this year’s team with some very needed items to help prepare and sustain the team throughout this year’s competition.
